Rough, real, and remote, the Arctic Circle is the land of adventure, offering a combination of raw nature and cultural traditions. Arctic Circle tours include dog sledding, skiing, hiking, hunting, fishing, and kayaking, deeply embedded in the region’s human history. They form the backbone of many of the greatest adventures in the Arctic.

In the Arctic Circle, we offer holidays in Greenland and Iceland, providing unparalleled opportunities for immersive Arctic Circle tours.

Green Land

Greenland

Greenland, the world’s largest island, is an exciting destination in the Arctic for nature and adventure travellers. It offers nature activities, cultural experiences, hunting and fishing opportunities, coastal sailing, and cruises.

Humpback whales, musk oxen, walruses, reindeer, and white-tailed eagles are just some of the many animals one can see on land, at sea, and in the sky around Greenland. Ilulissat, which is situated almost 300kms north of the Arctic Circle is the perfect place to experience life in the Arctic. It is a small town with easy access to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ilulissat Icefjord and with comfortable accommodations.

The cities and towns boast of many cultural sights and museums which can be explored on foot. The highlight of these towns are visits with local families as well as observing the everyday street life.

Iceland

Iceland

Iceland is a country of extreme contrasts where summer months have nearly 24-hours of sunlight. Between September and April, Iceland is treated to a magnificent natural display – the phenomenon of Aurora Borealis, or what we commonly call the Northern Lights.

Every day, there is an adventure waiting to happen in Iceland. With its abundance of mountains, volcanoes, glaciers, rivers, lakes, and scenic landscapes, Iceland is truly an outdoor enthusiasts paradise.
